These thoughts I have are unending
What to choose is still depending
Does she like me? Does she care?
Does she even know that all I want is to be there?
Time is all it takes but time is what we don’t have
Changes happen and what could have been is down another path
We must choose wisely for if we don’t we’ll always just wonder what could have been
Wondering, waiting, and anticipating
Showing true feelings can’t be done
Fear of rejection, fear of commitment… fear of possible love?
Maybe a walk or a jog will help settle this gentle sob
Thoughts aren’t always the same, they only relate
Some more than others but never the same fate
Choose a path and experiment
Instead of looking in wonder and suffering from the tempting torment
We’d all like to do this but clouded by fear
Leave opportunity behind when it draws near
Don’t fret and don’t let it slip away
For you could miss out… instead of seizing the day
